“An Evening for Ukraine: Art Exhibition and Conversation” with Ukrainian Artist Katya Roberts – April 11, 2022

Artist Katya Roberts is a Ukrainian American artist living in Bedford, NH. She will be hosting an art exhibition event and fundraiser for Ukraine “An Evening for Ukraine: Art Exhibition & Conversation” [DOWNLOAD FLYER] It takes place on April 11th 6:00 PM-8:00 PM at Bethany Covenant Church lobby in Bedford, New Hampshire.

The event will feature her mixed media art, which includes drawing, sculpture and video in an exhibition titled, “This Side of the Sun”. The exhibition is already installed and available for viewing before it opens to the larger community.

There will be an artist talk where Katya will be in conversation with pastor Chris Ek of Bethany Covenant Church about the works exhibited and their relationship to the current war in Ukraine. Attendees will have an opportunity to donate or learn about humanitarian relief funds (recommended by Ukrainian parliament member Inna Sovsun who she has been in contact with) and to Covenant World Relief, which is currently working with Ukrainian refugees in Romania and bringing supplies across the Ukrainian border for distribution within Ukraine. There will also be a reading of a Ukrainian war diary and Ukrainian-inspired finger foods for consumption.
